This class is for non-sewers and non-believers. Yes, Katie Pettit will show us how to make very practical totes, without sewing a stitch, using a lot of creativity and ingenuity. Join us Tuesday, February 16 at 10:00 AM till 12:00 noon or 7:00 PM till 9:00 PM in the Holy Spirit Room and create your own “one of a kind” bag which makes a great gift for any occasion. Call Katie at 973-886-4548 for list of supplies and to register.
Join Joanne Jacobia and the Columbiettes
on Tuesday, February 9 at 7:00 PM in the Fr.
Martin McDonnell Center and make a quilted
Valentine pillow for your love. With the
assistance of many helping hands and
sewing machines, you will cut, sew, iron, stuff and take
home your pillow in just one session. “We find a job for
everyone,” says Joanne. The cost of the project is just
$10. A sample will be in the atrium of the Church the
weekend before the class. To find out more and to
register, call Joanne at 973-887-4832.
St. Ann Craft Club will be having a table at the fair. Sessions for people who would like to gather to share craft ideas and work on projects to be sold at the fair will begin Tuesday, January 26 10:00 am till noon and 7:00 pm till 9:00 pm in the Library.
Andrea Deo will be conducting exercise classes to music on Thursday nights from 7:30 to 8:15 PM in the Fr. Martin McDonnell Center beginning October 15. Calling all moms, dads, grandmas, grandpas, or baby sitters - it’s time to register for St. Ann’s Playgroup/Story time. All preschool children (birth to 5), with an adult, are invited to play together, listen to stories, sing, and do crafts. The group meets in the Father Martin McDonnell Center every Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM from September till June.
Helene Turner, professional storyteller from Barnes and Noble, will be on hand to keep everyone entertained as she weaves her stories, introduces her puppets (and sometimes her animal friends), and teaches a take home craft. Enjoy adult company over a cup of coffee while your little one can play and learn at the same time.
For additional information, contact Karen Ford at 973-887-2220 or Maria Parziale at 973-515-0760.

Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them, and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need, and bring them home safely. May their sacrifices bring about a lasting and just peace in those lands. I ask this in the name of Jesus, Our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Pray for our men and women in the service.
